disclosed, referred, or mutually utilized for the purpose of cross-marketing and
documentation with regard to this service, to be undertaken by both the
“Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Republic of China (Taiwan) and CommonWealth
Magazine Co., Ltd., and its affiliated enterprises (including Commonwealth
Publishing Group Co., Ltd. and CommonWealth Education Media and Publishing Co.,
Ltd.)”, collectively referred to 'we.' In accordance with the “9th Trending
Taiwan”, hereby informed you of the Individual Negotiation Terms for
Cross-Marketing in compliance with the law. I reserve the right to modify my
personal information or request the cessation of data utilization at any time
through the provided customer service channels, whether directed to us or any
relevant collaborative marketing entity.
“Notification of Personal Data Statement”
If you are a minor (under 18 years old), you shall have/notified your legal
representative (or guardian) to understand and agree to this notification. Only
then may you proceed to use this service. By continuing to use this service, you
signify that your legal representative (or guardian) has read, understood, and
agreed to accept all the contents of this notification, including subsequent
modifications and changes.
1. Purpose of Personal Data Collection:
Except for the following purposes, no other uses will be undertaken.
Customer management, statistical and survey analysis, membership administration,
marketing, and other specific purposes in accordance with the business
registration items or provisions of the charter pertinent to the specific
business requirements.
The aforementioned relevant operations, or those within the scope of work
stipulated in contracts, quasi-contractual relationships, or other functions as
outlined in the business registration items or organizational charter, will be
collected from you.
2. Categories of Personal Data Items: Name, telephone number, email address,
account name, address, education level, age, date of birth, ID card number,
nationality, or other information capable of directly or indirectly identifying
you as an individual.
3. Duration, Territory, and Methods of Personal Data Utilization:
(1) Duration: Personal data will be retained for a specified purpose from
[2024-07-16] to [2026-07-15], and within the period prescribed by laws and
regulations thereafter.
(2) Territory: Your personal data will be used within the territory of the
Taiwan (R.O.C) and within the scope permitted by laws and regulations. (3)
Recipients: We may share your personal data with collaborative marketing
partners, entities with whom customer data is mutually utilized, cooperating
promotional units, business-related organizations, and other entities or
authorities authorized by law.
4. Rights of the Parties:
In accordance with Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the
following rights that you can exercise with us: inquiry, access, duplication,
supplementation, correction, request to cease collection, request to cease
processing, request to cease utilization, request for deletion, and other
related rights. Should you exercise any of the aforementioned rights, we may
charge you necessary costs for accessing personal data or producing duplicate
copies. Furthermore, the exercise of the aforementioned rights shall adhere to
the relevant stipulations set forth by the Personal Data Protection Act.
5. Impact of Non-Provision of Personal Data on Rights:
In cases where the collection, processing, or utilization of your personal data
is necessary for the reasons stated above, you have the option to decline.
However, should you choose not to provide, provide incomplete, or inaccurate
information, or request the removal of partial or entire personal data after
providing it, due to factors such as legal obligations or risk management, we
may be unable to provide you with the relevant information or services you
require.
